What it is

Street sweeping involves removing dirt, gravel, vegetation, litter, spoil, milling waste and other debris from road surfaces, car parks, pathways and construction sites. Our crews operate specialised sweeping equipment to maintain clean and safe road networks and to prepare surfaces for treatments such as line marking and crack sealing.
Whether it's a council maintenance run, a subdivision development or a major road project, sweeping is often one of the final steps before the road is opened back to traffic — and a properly swept surface improves adhesion for line marking, crack sealing and long-life pavement markings while reducing the risk of loose aggregate becoming a hazard for road users.
