Specialist treatments
Specialist road treatments delivered inside larger civil and maintenance packages: coloured surfaces, rumble strips, street sweeping and crack sealing.

What it is
What the crew does on site.
- Coloured surface treatment
A coloured coating applied to the road surface to improve visibility and clearly define areas for specific road users — cycle lanes, bus lanes, pedestrian crossing approaches, conflict areas, school zones and intersection treatments.
Our crews prepare the pavement, apply the specified treatment and install any associated line marking, so important road features stand out and road users instantly understand how a space should be used.
- Rumble strips
A painted treatment installed on top of the road, creating vibration and noise when a vehicle drives over them — designed to warn drivers of an upcoming hazard like a high-risk intersection or rail crossing.
A valuable treatment on the rural and regional roads where fatigue and head-on collisions do the damage.
- Street sweeping
Street sweeping removes dirt, gravel, vegetation, litter, spoil, milling waste and other debris from roads, car parks, pathways and construction sites.
Our specialised sweeping equipment prepares surfaces for line marking, crack sealing and long-life pavement markings, and leaves civil and council works clean and safe.
- Crack sealing
Crack sealing cleans and seals cracks in asphalt pavements to stop water entering and weakening the road structure.
Our crews apply specialised hot-applied materials that remain flexible as the pavement expands and contracts, extending pavement life and delaying more expensive reconstruction.
